What is Rent-A-Fit?
Welcome to Rent-A-Fit! We provide our members with access to a closet full of designer clothes at a fragment of the retail cost. Whether renting for dates, events, weekends, parties and everything in between, we have the right plan for you.
What condition are the items in?
We take great care to clean and inspect all of our pieces so they arrive in like-new condition. All dry cleaning and repairs are done through partnered dry cleaner to ensure the highest quality.
Am I able to wash or dry clean my items?
No need to clean your items on your own! We take care of that for you. With our partnered dry cleaner, we always do our best to make sure each piece stays in mint condition.
Why do some items show a varying rental price?
For 3 and 6 day Reserve rentals, prices vary based on retail value and availability. We recommend searching by your desired rental date to see the styles ready for you to reserve.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we only ship orders within Los Angeles. However, we do plan to expand throughout the United States eventually.
Can I keep or purchase the clothing?
Our pieces are available for sale at the end of each season (about every 4-6 months) for up to 70% off of the retail cost.
What if I accidentally stain or damage the clothes?
We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable. Insurance is included with our memberships and with any 3 or 6 day Reserve rental we include a $5 insurance fee to cover minor stains and damage. However, significant damage and theft aren't covered under insurance. If the item is damaged beyond repair or never returned, you will be charged the retail price of the item.
When will my card be charged?
You're charged at the time you make your reservation or confirm your order for your membership.
How will I be billed each month for my membership?
Members are charged a membership price on a monthly basis. Memberships are automatically renewed and you will be billed on the same day every month at the rate then in effect to your payment method on file. Your membership will not expire unless you contact us and choose to cancel.
If the item was delivered and has proof of delivery by UPS and has not been returned 24-hours after the supposed return date, then a Late Fee charge would incur. After 48 hours after the supposed return date, we reserve the right to charge for the full retail price of the item per our "Terms of Service".
Do I have to pay for the return shipment for the item?
We provide you with a prepaid label that covers free return shipping through UPS. UPS is our partner for all return shipping and at this time we do not offer options through other carriers.
What sizes do you carry?
Sizing depends on each piece. Most items currently are available in only one size. We carry sizes S-XL, varying by item. However, because these are designer pieces, they may not fit as expected. Please refer to the description of each product to ensure that it is a proper fit for you.
How is Rent-A-Fit environmentally friendly?
With each rental, you’re saving all the water, electricity and emissions used to manufacture a new piece of clothing. By renting an item you will only wear a few times, you are contributing to the reduction in clothes that are thrown away each year. We invest in luxury pieces that last years rather than fast-fashion that falls apart and ends up in landfills.
